Bury the past, Embrace the NEW!

Updated: Sep 28, 2021

Move on people - it's time to move on...

CHANGE is a word that's often uttered - rarely executed. People speak of change as if they are highly acquainted; however, when you peek inside and look around - things yet remain the same.

Instead of burying the past, dead and lifeless situations are allowed to dwell in their midst. In the public eye, choice words are spoken - symbolic rituals are performed; however, in private quarters mourning for the past and dwelling in the past, yet prevails.

I urge you to avoid the syndrome of looking like a public success while feeling like a private failure. In other words, looking good on the outside, while suffering on the inside with continuous conflict, confusion, stagnation, under-development, stress, struggle and turmoil.

As Christians, we must be change agents truly living out the Word of God. Take note of following, "Jesus also told them this parable: "You don't tear a piece off a new coat to patch up an old coat. If you do, you will have torn the new coat, and the piece of new cloth will not match the old." (Luke 5:36 GNT)

Tear down the standing mausoleums in your life today. Your fullest potential will never be realized until you seek God, today...to better understand how you can respectfully transition from the past to embrace the new mercies, new grace, new opportunities, new people, new skills, new experiences and overall newness of life He has prepared for you.

Pay your final respects, TODAY - allowing your past to rest in peace and your present to LIVE in Peace.
